Aditya Singh Rajput

Aditya Singh Rajput

Aditya Singh Rajput, also known as Addy, began his professional career at the tender age of seventeen. He never looked back after that, and to date, he has appeared in around 125 TV spots and four Hindi feature debuts, all of which were helmed by well-known National Award winners. In Krantiveer: The Revolution, his third film, which was released on June 25, 2010, he plays a powerful revolutionary who also has a romantic interest.

Commenced employment at the age of 17. Despite the fact that his grandparents are from Uttarakhand, he was born and raised in Delhi. His family is middle class by definition. Both parents have retired. Own a sister who was older and lived in Sahibabad, Uttar Pradesh, until I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, after getting married.

His family meant a lot to him. Even though he has traveled to many other countries, he still feels most at home in India, and he is thankful to God for everything in his life.

College Life:

The main reason the college audience has taken to him is because he is only 24 years old. He took part in campus productions. It was the affection and responsiveness from the college crowd that he used to enjoy. He was a carefree individual who cherished each moment of life.

He enjoys spending time with those he cares about. He was an avid internet user, loved taking long trips, and kept up a part-time passion for photography.

In an interview, he stated:

  • "If someday we get a chance to meet in Mumbai, then definitely I am going to show you my rare collection of photography."
  • "I have tried to be a good singer, but I can only sing on the screen where you just have to move your lips, and the rest of the things are taken care of by background singers (laughs)."

Struggle:

It was always a delightful journey rather than a battle for Him. From the beginning, he had delighted in every second of his work. It was his hobby at first, and then it turned into his career.

He began my profession by walking on ramps in Delhi. He soon began to receive requests for ads.

He was fortunate enough to get chosen for the Hero Honda advertisement starring Hrithik Roshan and Saurav Ganguly after taking part in a Hero screen test one day. Raj Kaushal and Mahesh Bhat served as the judges. In order to do that, he traveled to Mumbai and held auditions for further advertisements. He decided to try his luck one day and spend a few months in Mumbai, and he immediately began receiving job offers. He began his profession in this manner at a very young age.

T.V. serial:

He hasn't done any. However, he has done one show for Pogo Television. Actually, it was a children's television program called CIA (CAMBALA Investigation Agencies), which went on to become quite popular with young viewers. He performed the role of Rohit in it. One of the show's central figures. Working with children was truly a different kind of experience, and he had a terrific time.

He also worked in a short film directed by Madhur Bhandarkar for television many years ago, titled "Shivani." He has also acted in a few Tamil films, including "Boys and Girls," among others.

T.V. Ads:

He has a large portfolio of T.V. ads. Specifically, he has directed over 125 commercials; the most well-known ones are for Close Up, BSNL 2Mbps, Amul Kool Cafe, T-Series Mobile, Coke with Aamir Khan, Hero Honda starring Hrithik Roshan, and DISH TV featuring Shahrukh Khan.

"Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara":

At the age of barely 19, he made his Hindi debut in that capacity. His opportunity to collaborate with Anupam Kher and Urmila Matondkar on my debut film was a great blessing. In the film, Urmila was the older sister of Anupam Kher, who he portrayed as his son.

Through his acquaintance Hemant, he was able to obtain the Movie. Hemant was the director Jahnu Barua's assistant in that film. The producer was none other than Anupam Kher ji. He received an audition call thanks to the suggestion of my friend. Working with Jahnu and Anupan Ji was an amazing experience. Anupam Ji was my mentor the entire time, and I gained a lot of knowledge from him.

Anupam ji won a Special Jury Award at the National Film Awards and critical acclaim for his portrayal in the successful film. In contrast, Urmila won the Bollywood Movie Award for Best Actress.

Rajit Kapur, Parvin Dabas, Prem Chopra ji, Boman Irani, Vishwaas Pandya, and Nazneen Ghani were among the other cast members.

How has this Movie helped in his career?

It helped him a lot. It gave him more confidence, and during the Movie, he learned a lot. It gave him good exposure, and soon, he started getting more commercials and movies.

After this Movie, he did another Hindi called "You Me and Hum," directed by Ajay Devgan. I played the role of Ajay Devgan and Kajol's son. Also, I got a chance to work with Sumeet Raghavan, Nikhil, Divya Dutta, Hazel Croney, Isha Sharvani, Karan Khanna, Anita Wahi, and Aumckar.

Aditya, your one more Movie, "KRANTIVEER - the revolution," is about to be released this coming Friday, 25, 2010. Tell me something about it, and what are your expectations from this Movie?

I got Krativeer directly when I met Mehul Ji in one of the shows. That time, he was looking for one person who could play that role in his Movie. He called me for an audition, and I got selected. This is how I got the chance to be a part of this Movie.

In this Movie, I am playing the role of Goldie, one of the main characters of the Movie, who belongs to a very rich family. He is a sweet, down-to-earth guy who loves a girl named Roshani. Jahan Bloch is playing this role, but unfortunately, she is in love with another guy. The guy (Goldie), after knowing this, becomes, but it's not a villainous character. Soon, everything gets settled, and they both unite. It's not a love triangle kind of Movie, but it's more than this.

The film revolves around the problems faced by our society in particular. Corruption, terrorism, and bad politics are the aspects the film concentrates on. These are the issues that unite the lead characters of the Movie, and it's all about how they use electronic media as a perfect weapon. It was nice working with Mehul Kumar Ji. Prior to the film, I used to hear a lot about how strict and short-tempered a person he is. However, I found him to be a totally different person.

Expectations from this Movie?

Well, not only him, we all were expecting good from this Movie. During the promo, Nana Patekar ji and Amitabh Bachchan ji were with us, and they both blessed us for the success.

I am excited about my club birthday number, 'Chote Tera Birthday Aaya,' sung by Mika and Hard Kaur. Sameer Ji has written this song, and Chiini Prakash Ji has choreographed it. It has already become a hit club song. Besides, I have a very strong role in the Movie; let's see how the audience takes it!

Upcoming movies?

Well, right now, I am shooting for a couple of movies in which I will be playing different roles, but right now, I can't talk much about them. Once it is over, I will definitely share it with you.

Aditya, now coming to your achievements, would you like to share them?

I won't say that I have achieved something in my life because if I think so, then the spirit to do more inside me will die. There are lot many things to do, and this is just the start, but I feel lucky that at such a young age, I have done 4 Hindi and a couple of Tamil movies. All the directors with whom I worked were National Award winners, and it was a great experience with lots of learning.

Would you like to say something to your fans?

I love them all and hope that they will love me and support me the way they have been doing till now. I am not too old person to give a 'wise saying' but what I will say to everybody is to enjoy life to the fullest. Keep up your hard work, and you will definitely see the results.

Aditya, which place do you like most in Uttarakhand and why?

For me, all the places in Uttarakhand are worth visiting. Although I was born and brought up in Delhi, I always take advantage of every chance to be in Uttarakhand. I am a very 'desi' kind of person. I am quite different in real life from what you see of me in front of the camera. I love to stay close to the mother nature. I like to be in places such as Mussoorie and Nainital. There are lot many places where I have visited, and I will remember that experience.
