Career

In Kastanievej, Viby, Anders Antonsen began playing badminton at the age of six. His father, who worked at a badminton club in Denmark, taught him and his brother, Kasper Antonsen, the game.

At the 2013 Forza Denmark International competition, he made his debut internationally. He defeated German player Max Weißkirchen in the final with a score of 21-9, 15-21, 21-9 to win the 2015 European Junior Championship. In addition, he won the Dutch International, Belgian International, Irish Open, and other tournaments that year. He also received the 2015 European Young Player of the Year title.
