Rebecca Quin is an actor and professional wrestler from Ireland. She signed WWE under the ring name is Becky Lynch. She is currently under contract with WWE and has won the SmackDown Women's Championship twice.

She left Ireland and went on to compete in championships all over the world. She became the "World Queens of Champion" and the "SuperGirl Wrestling Champion" thanks to her exceptional wrestling abilities, tenacity, and willpower.

She wrestled on the independent circuit under the name "Rebecca Knox" prior to signing with "WWE," but a career setback was caused by an injury sustained during a "German Stampede" match. She participated in several plays during this period and then joined "NXT" in 2013.

Quin emerged victorious from the "Six-pack Elimination Challenge" at "Backlash 2016," earning the title of "SmackDown Women's Champion." In September 2018, she set a record when she won the same title twice.

Birth and Early Life of Becky Lynch

Quin was born in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, on January 30, 1987. She has a lifelong love for professional wrestling and would often watch events with her brother. Later on, her brother competed in wrestling as "Gonzo de Mondo."

She loved swimming, basketball, and horseback riding as a child. Following her education, she enrolled in graduate programs in politics, philosophy, and history. Still, she dropped out of school at the age of 17 because she didn't think the material was interesting.

Quin and her brother enrolled in a wrestling school run by Fergal Devitt and Paul Tracey when they were fifteen years old. She once disclosed that, before beginning her wrestling training, she was on the verge of drunkenness; however, wrestling assisted her in kicking the habit.

Career of Quin

  • Quin entered the ring as "Rebecca Knox" and made her professional debut after five months of training. Additionally, she attended "NWA UK Hammerlock" training. She competed in Irish wrestling events in the early years of her career, where she formed a tag team with her brother in "Mixed Tag Team" battles. Subsequently, she expanded her arena and began competing in the European wrestling scene.
  • Quin won the 2006 World Queens of Chaos Championship and took part in the "Queens of Chaos Promotion" in France. She made appearances in the German promotion German Stampede Wrestling as well as the British company One Pro Wrestling.
  • She'd had two stingers and two broken ankles from wrestling competitions before 2005.
  • She was crowned the Inaugural SuperGirl Champion" in June 2005 at the "SuperGirl Wrestling Promotion," a division of the professional wrestling company "Extreme/Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling," which is situated in western Canada. She spent more than ten months defending this title. Quin competed in the women's professional wrestling business "ChickFight III" based in San Francisco, and in October 2006, she advanced to the tournament's second round.

  • Her opponent, the Finnish wrestler "Kisu," botched a landing during a "German Stampede Wrestling" match on September 26, 2006, causing an injury above her eye. After stitches were used to heal it, she started to have headaches, distorted eyesight, and a loud buzzing sound in her left ear. Her seventh cranial nerve was later found to be injured. Her wrestling career suffered as a result since she was forced to postpone the balance of the year's matches. 2008 was expected to be her return to wrestling, but that never happened.
  • Quin finished her studies during this period and graduated from "The Dublin Institute of Technology" with a degree in acting. She also attended the Irish drama school in Dublin, the "Gaiety School of Acting," and Columbia College in Chicago. She participated in several plays between 2011 and 2012. She also worked as a flight attendant for "Aer Lingus" for 2.5 years.
  • She made a comeback to "Shimmer" in 2011, where she managed Saraya and Britani Knight, a mother-daughter tag team. Quin moved to Florida to join the WWE's "NXT" development zone after signing a deal with them in April 2013. She made her NXT live event debut in November 2013 and changed her ring name from Rebecca Knox to Becky Lynch. On June 26, 2014, she appeared on television for the first time in an episode of "NXT; on July 13, 2015, she debuted on the main roster of "Raw."
  • Quin was the first female draft picked up for the "SmackDown" brand in the "2016 WWE draft," and on September 11, 2016, she was crowned the inaugural "SmackDown Women's Champion." For eighty-four days, she successfully defended the championship. Later on, she adopted the disguise "La Luchadora."
  • Quin took part in the inaugural "WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal" at "WrestleMania 34" and "WrestleMania 33" in April 2017. She achieved a career record in September 2018 when she defeated her opponent in a title match at "Hell in a Cell," winning the "SmackDown Women's Championship" for the second time. She kept up her defense until October 2018.

  • Quin had a cameo in "The Marine 6: Close Quarters" in a 2013 episode of "Viking." She has three video game appearances as "Lynch."
  • Quin started dating Luke Sanders, an MMA competitor in the "Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC)" in February 2016. The two are thought to have split up in April 2018.
