Jaswinder Singh Bains, best known by his stage name Jazzy B, is an Indo-Canadian Punjabi singer and composer. He was born on April 1, 1975.

Early Life and Career:

Jazzy B hails from Durgapur, Nawanshahr, Punjab, India. When he was five years old, his family relocated to Surrey, British Columbia. 1993 saw the release of his debut album, Gugiyan Da Jora. The beat was played by Sukhshinder Shinda, who advised him to move to England if he wanted to pursue a successful career in Punjabi music. He was a huge fan of the late singer Kuldeep Manak, which is one of the reasons Jazzy's album Maharajas, which was released in 2011 with Kuldeep's son, Yudhvir, who is also a singer, is a tribute to Kuldeep Manak. Many other songs sung by Jazzy and Yudhvir are also a tribute to Kuldeep Manak.

Career in Film:

Jazzy made his film debut in Shaheed Udham Singh in 2000. He made an appearance in the song Chuk De Punjabi from Sunny Deol's 2006 film Teesri Aankh: The Hidden Camera.

His acting debut was in 2012's Best of Luck, a film starring Miss India Universe 2008 Simran Kaur Mundi and Punjabi singer and actor Gippy Grewal. Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, was the location for the start of filming on this project in May 2012. In Diljit Dosanjh's film Jatt & Juliet 2, he made a special appearance in 2013.

He had an appearance in Romeo Ranjha in 2014. When performing stunts for Romeo Ranjha, Jazzy allegedly had major injuries, including a "near-death" encounter, according to a press report that was released in April.
