Early Life and Childhood- On June 28, 1991, Kang Min-hyuk was born in Ilsan-gu, Goyang, South Korea. Being the youngest, Kang was also the most beloved of his parents' children. Because of his overindulgence, he developed into an agitated and mischievous child who threatened both his family and his instructors at school. He did well in his studies and received above-average grades despite his conduct.

CareerFrom 2009 to Now: CNBLUE- In 2009, Kang joined the CNBLUE. On August 19, 2009, the trio made their Japanese debut with the mini album Now or Never, released by independent label AI Entertainment. With the release of the short album Bluetory in 2010, they made their formal debut in Korea, where the lead single "I'm a Loner" quickly became popular.
From 2010 until the Present: Acting Roles and Solo Activities- Alongside Lee Jong-hyun, another member of CNBLUE, Kang made his acting debut in the 2010 omnibus film Acoustic.
The SBS drama It's Okay, Daddy's Girl marked its small-screen premiere after that. He was cast in 2011 in MBC's youth melodrama Heartstrings, starring Jung Yong-hwa, a member of CNBLUE.
