Laxmi Agarwal is an Indian acid assault survivor. She was born on June 1, 1990. She was attacked in 2005 when she was 15 years old by Naeem Khan, also known as Guddu, because she refused to marry him.

She founded Stop Sale Acid, a movement opposing acid violence and the sale of acid. Laxmi initiated this campaign with the hashtag #StopSaleAcid, which received widespread support.

With the filmmaker Meghana Gulzar, Deepika Padukone is acting in and producing a movie based on her life. The movie has debuted on January 10, 2020, under Chhapak.

Agarwal serves as the director of the "Chhany Foundation," an NGO that aids acid attack victims in India. After she has established herself as the voice of the victims and anchored the 2014 New Express television program "Udaan." Laxmi has been inspiring the victims to rebuild their lives through lectures.
