Nirahua

Nirahua's real name is Dinesh Lal Yadav, but he is popularly known as Nirahua. By profession, Nirahua is an actor, producer, singer, and politician. He is famous for acting in Bhojpuri language films. Nirahua is famous among the actors in Bhojpuri language films and he gained a lot of popularity when he became a contestant in Bigg Boss 6, which was held in the year 2012. He is also the Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha. Nirahua was born on 9th February 1979 in a Biraha family of Ghazipur. He is 44 years old as of 2023. As Nirahua belongs to a Biraha family, he started his career as a Biraha singer.

Dinesh Lal Yadav got his name Nirahua after singing his debut song 'Nirahua Satal Rahe'. Nirahua started his career as a singer in 2003 and in 2006, he entered the world of acting. For the first time, he acted in the Bhojpuri drama called 'Humka Aisa Waisa Na Samjha', and then he worked in many movies and started gaining popularity.

Nirahua also worked with two famous personalities of Bollywood in 2006; he worked with Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan in the movie named 'Ganga Devi'. He has worked in many blockbuster movies; Nirahua Hindustani in 2014 was one of his most popular films. Nirahua has also worked in many patriotic movies like 'Patna se Pakistan', in 2015 and 'Border' in 2018. Both of these movies were superhit Bhojpuri movies and became a commercial success. Nirahua has worked on major film projects. Some of these were also shot abroad; 'Nirahua Chalal London' was shot in London in 2019.

Nirahua debuted himself on OTT platforms as well. Nirahua appeared in the web series 'Hero Vardiwala' where he played the role of a police officer. This web series was also presented in the Bhojpuri language.

Nirahua shared a little bit about his family; he likes to keep his personal life private. His father's name is Kumar Yadav and his mother's name is Chandrajyoti Yadav. He also has a sister, Lalita Yadav, and a brother, Pravesh Lal Yadav. Most of his childhood days were spent in Kolkata as his father was an employee there. His roots are still very well connected to Birahas. The well-known Biraha singers such as Vijay Lal Yadav, who is popularly known as 'Biraha Samrat', and the writers such as Pyare Lal Yadav are his cousins. Both these celebrities are famous names of Bhojpuri cinema who are known for presenting many songs.

Career

Nirahua started his career in 2006. He first appeared in 'Humka Aisa Waisa Na Samjha', a Bhojpuri film in which he played the role of a boy who struggled a lot to get his language 'Bhojpuri' recognized among the people of the state. Later, the movie 'Chalat Musafir Moh Liyo Re' was another movie in which he played the role of a police inspector and worked with some famous actors such as Kalpana Patowary and Sunil Chhaila Bihari.

His third film was 'Ho Gail Ba Pyar Odhaniya Waali Se', released in 2007. After this movie, Nirahua got many offers regarding acting in films and he was highlighted among Bhojpuri actors. In the same year, his film, named Rikshawala, was released. He got many other titles, including the 'Jubilee Star', after the release of some famous movies like 'Kahan Jaiba Raja Najariya Ladaike'.

In 2008, his movie 'Lagal Raha Ae Rajaji' was released and achieved success at a greater level. In those days, Nirahua looked different from the actors of those days because of his fitness, natural acting and personality, and especially his excellent moves. People were so crazy about him that even his flop films were shown in theaters for a week because the audience was so impressed by his looks rather than the content of the film.

Many of his films were released from 2008 to 2011, all of which were listed in the category of superhit films. In 2008, 'Pratigya' and 'Pariwaar' were released, and then in 2009, 'Nirahua No. 1' was released. In 2010, the movie 'Saat Saheliyan', and in 2011, 'Nirahua Chahal Sasural' and 'Aulaad' were released. Aulad had become one of the popular films and in the context of this film, Times of India wrote, 'Dinesh Lal Yadav had lived his character.' Because of his excellent acting in the film, he received so many wonderful comments.

Nirahua appeared in several high-budget films and TV screens from 2012 to 2018. In 2012, he was chosen as a contestant for Bigg Boss, which is one of the biggest reality shows in India. Then in 2012, he acted in the movie 'Ganga Jamuna Saraswati', which provided a great profit to Bhojpuri Cinema. This movie earned 1.25 crore only in three weeks. In the same year, Nirahua worked with Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, and Jaya Bachchan in the movie 'Ganga Devi', which was another Bhojpuri blockbuster of the year. Many of his movies got prestigious awards. Then in 2016, Nirahua acted in the movie 'Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi'. This movie was produced by Priyanka Chopra.

His most famous movie 'Nirahua Hindustani' came with the sequel 'Nirahua Hindustani 2', and it was the only movie that won eleven awards at the Sabrang Film Awards. In 2018, 'Kashi Amarnath' was another movie produced by Priyanka Chopra. After this, he was seen in some patriotic films like 'Border', which proved to be one of the best and highest-grossing films in Bhojpuri cinema.

In 2019, Nirahua finally appeared on OTT platforms. First, he appeared in the web series 'Hero Vardiwala'. This was the first web series that was released in Bhojpuri Language. Two years later in 2021, Nirahua acted in 'Kukkur', a short film which was based on the condition of old age people living in old age homes. In the same year, 2021, on 10th December, the film 'Hum Hain Dulha Hindustani' was released. It was a romantic comedy, where Nirahua worked with Amrapali Dubey and Madhu Sharma. This was the second time when Nirahua went to London for the shooting of the movie. In the year 2021, on 1st January, another short film was released called 'Dahar'. Other than web series, he also appeared in movies. Recently in the year 2023, he has been seen in three movies: Nirahua Chalal Sasural, Fasal, and Nirahua Hindustani.

Nirahua has a huge list of movies and short films in his collection. Because of his hard work, he presented Bhojpuri Cinema at another level. Undoubtedly, he is one of the most loved personalities of Bhojpuri cinema.

Political Career

On 27 March 2019, Nirahua joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and became a Member of the Parliament. Nirahua joined the Bharatiya Janta Party in Lucknow in the presence of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He was presented as a candidate on 3rd April 2019 for the elections of Indian Lok Sabha. During the elections, Nirahua had to face Akhilesh Yadav as he was the candidate of the opposing party. Unfortunately, Nirahua lost the elections by 259, 874 votes. Akhilesh Yadav had strong roots in politics as he was the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh.

But in 2022, Nirahua defeated Dharmendra Yadav, a candidate from the Samajwadi Party (SP), and Nirahua won by 8,700 votes.

Family

In 2000, Nirahua was married to Mansha Yadav. With her, she has three children, two boys, Amit Yadav and Aditya Yadav, and a daughter, Aditi Yadav. There were many rumors regarding his second marriage that he simultaneously married Amrapali Dubey.

Awards

Nirahua won a total of three awards from 2016 to 2018. In 2016, he won the Best Actor award in the International Bhojpuri Film Awards for the movie 'Patna Se Pakistan'. Then in 2017, he was awarded in International Bhojpuri Film Awards for the Jubilee Star Awards for his best acting. In 2018, Nirahua won the Best Actor award from the International Bhojpuri Film Awards for the film Nirahua Hindustani 2.
