Early Life and Career

Hazarika was born to Raj and Usha Gogoi Hazarika in the Assamese village of Lakhimpur. She completed her education at North Lakhimpur's St. Mary's High School before earning her degree from Guwahati's Handique Girl's College. Since she was very young, she has been interested in several artistic mediums, such as acting and music. At the age of four, she had her theatrical debut.

Hazarika has performed in several Bengali and Assamese motion pictures as both an actor and singer. She has provided the voice of many documentaries, including those made by UNICEF, All India Radio, and Doordarshan. She has also served as a TV show host for Focus NE, News Live, and DY 365. The film director Prodyut Kumar Deka extended Queen her first acting offer in the Assamese film Surjasta in 2012.

Her collaboration with Antara Nandy, Jim Ankan Deka, Ritwika Bhattacharya, and Aawaz, which speaks out against sexual abuse, earned numerous national and international accolades at various music and cinema festivals.
