Raju SrivistavaIntroductionSatya Prakash Srivastav, also known by the stage names Raju Srivastav and Gajodhar, was an Indian comedian, actor, and politician who lived from December 25, 1963, until September 21, 2022. Political CareerSrivastava stood for the Samajwadi Party (SP) in the Kanpur Lok Sabha constituency in the 2014 elections. Srivastav, however, returned the ticket on March 11 because he felt he was not receiving enough support from the party's local units. SP anticipated that he would resign because the race for the seat had grown crucial. After quitting, SP withdrew his application for Kanpur. On March 19, 2014, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) just a few days after quitting SP. The BJP declined to give him a 2014 Lok Sabha ticket.
