2. Cellular Jail

Port Blair, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands capital, has a historic colonial jail known as The Cellular Jail, often known as "Kala Pani."

3. Ross Island

Ross Island, formerly known as Netaji Subhash Bose Island, was originally the British government's administrative centre but is now merely a deserted island located barely two kilometres east of Port Blair. The British evacuated Ross Island in 1941 due to an earthquake, moving their settlement to Port Blair.

It is hard to imagine at first glance that this deserted island was once the centre of British authority and included a bazaar, a church, shops, a bakery, a water treatment plant, a tennis court, a printing press, a secretariat, a hospital, a cemetery, and other essential institutions.

Everything has vanished except a few structures that once held some of these sites. Some historic structures, including neighbourhood shops, and bakeries, have been successfully rebuilt by the Indian Navy to give tourists a sense of the past. These stores also sell goods.

4. Neil Island

The British held the freedom fighters captive on Viper Island, constructed Years before Cellular Jail. On the southwest shore, Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park is a marine life-protected area located 25 kilometres from Port Blair, the Andaman Islands' main city; on the southwest shore is also known as Wandur National Park.
