1. 2021

Competing as the top seeds at the 2020 Summer Olympics were Zheng and his partner Huang Yaqiong. After losing to their fellow countrymen Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping in a close rubber match in the final, they were awarded a silver medal.

2. 2022

Zheng competed in the German Open, but this time around, he partnered with Zhang Shuxian. Jones Ralfy Jansen and Linda Efler eliminated them in the opening set. That same week, at the All-England Open, he was reunited with Huang Yaqiong. They advanced to the semifinals, where they lost three games to Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping, their fellow citizens.

Zheng and Huang made their third appearance at the Asia Championships in April. They won the title of champions, triumphing over Wang Yilyu and Huang Dongping in the championship match and going undefeated throughout. Zheng and Huang won five World Tour titles in a row from May to July at the Thailand Open, Indonesia Masters, Indonesia Open, Malaysia Open, and Malaysia Masters. Following their victory at the Indonesia Open, the duo once again topped the world rankings.

Competing as the top seeds in the August World Championships, Zheng and Huang won their third gold medal in this event's history by defeating home-grown competitors Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino in two straight games. Zheng and Huang defeated their countrymen Feng/Huang and the Dutch duo Tabeling/Piek in two thrilling three-game thrillers to win two Super 750 events, the Denmark Open and the French Open, despite being retaliated against a week later in the Japan Open semifinals.

3. 2023

At the beginning of the year, Zheng and Huang participated in the Malaysia Open Super 1000 as the top seeds and three-time defending champions. Throughout the competition, they retained their title without losing a set. A week later, they were defeated by Yuta Watanabe and Arisa Higashino in the India Open semifinals. Zheng/Huang played in the All England Open in March and won the title of champions for the second time in their combined career after defeating Seo Seung-jae and Chae Yu-jung of Korea. Zheng and Huang, the reigning champions, competed in the Asia Championships at the end of April.

They were defeated by their fellow countrymen Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin, however, and took home a silver medal. After winning all four of their games, the duo assisted the Chinese team in winning the Sudirman Cup in May. Zheng and Huang won their third Super 1000 title of the season in June, defeating Watanabe and Higashino in straight games in the final, following their defeat by Kim Won-ho and Jeong Na-eun in the Singapore quarterfinals.

The two were the top seeds and reigning champions when they arrived at the World Championships in August. Zheng advanced to his fifth final without dropping a game, but in three close games, the two fell short against Seo Seung-jae and Chae Yu-jung, a team they had never lost to in nine meetings. At the 2022 Asian Games in October, Huang and Zheng, the 2018 champions, successfully defended the title they had won five years prior. They did this by overcoming Watanabe and Higashino in the final in straight games and exacting revenge on Seo and Chae for their semifinal loss.

Zheng Siwei is married to Huang Yaqiong, his former partner.
