Review

The OnePlus 11 can be classified as a fully featured, high-end device with features that almost match the phone's price. As promised, the phone has a best-in-class display to go with its stylish appearance and simple user interface. With the exception of a few minor issues with the macro camera feature and irregular thermal slowdown, the OnePlus 11 experience is still excellent.

OnePlus 11 5G Price in India

The base model of the OnePlus 11 5G costs Rs. 56,999 in India and has 128GB of UFS 4.0 storage and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. For Rs. 61,999, the second edition doubles everything and provides 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Given that the specifications of the 11 5G are comparable to those of the 10 Pro 5G and sometimes even superior to them, this cost is a bit extreme.

OnePlus 11 5G Design

The physical similarities between the OnePlus 11 5G and OnePlus 10 Pro 5G are stunning. The back camera module has seen the most notable modification, changing from square to circular.

The remaining features, such as build quality and how it feels in your hands, are mostly comparable to those of the 10 Pro 5G. The OnePlus 11 5G has somewhat less thickness, but it still weighs more. However, this phone can be extremely slippery when held in one hand due to the smooth nature of the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 back panel and the curved corners of the aluminum frame, but it does give the gadget a premium appeal. The box's provided rubber case is useful.

The OnePlus 11 5G's display is quite similar to that of the OnePlus 10 Pro and supports Dolby Vision HDR playback. With Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a customizable refresh rate of up to 120Hz, it has a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen. It would give a good visual experience to the users.

OnePlus 11 5G Performance and Battery Life

The device performs well for general use and has plenty of power for intensive applications like games. The phone operates flawlessly with no indication of unusual heat or interface slowness. The display's brightness is more than sufficient even when used outside during the day, and the fingerprint sensor is quick and accurate.

The OnePlus 11 5G's dual speakers can play music loud and clearly. Although there is a minor imbalance in the stereo separation, with the main speaker seeming somewhat louder than the earpiece, this is not unusual. Even when the visuals and performance were set to the highest levels, games like Call of Duty Mobile performed excellently. During a game, the back becomes a little warm. But it shouldn't be a major issue.

The OnePlus 11 5G's option automatically switch the display resolution from full-HD+ to QHD+ according to the app or content. This contributed to the display's excellent battery life along with its flexibility to adjust its refresh rate down to 1Hz when necessary. The battery can easily last longer for a full day on a single charge, even during lengthy gaming sessions and camera use. It's convenient that charging at 100W doesn't require activating any additional modes because the phone takes care of this optimization automatically.

OnePlus 11 5G Cameras

In comparison to the 10 Pro 5G, OnePlus has completely redesigned all of the cameras on the 11 5G. The performance seems to have improved over the previous models. Sony's IMX890 sensor, which is somewhat smaller than the one in the 10 Pro 5G but has a bit greater resolution of 50 megapixels, is now used by the main camera. A 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 sensor provides a much-needed improvement for the ultra-wide camera. The third rear camera supports 2X optical zoom. Strangely, the greatest zoom level is only 20X despite an increase in resolution, which is less than the 30X provided by the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G.

In place of the 10 Pro 5G's 16-megapixel sensor, OnePlus has switched back to its older Sony IMX471 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. "AI scene enhancement," a feature, is also available in the camera app on the OnePlus 11 5G, which tends to artificially boost the colors of surroundings and particular items. Photos taken with the device receive the Hasselblad "natural" color treatment. Additionally, there are unique filters and effects in Photo and Portrait modes that were jointly created by Hasselblad brand ambassadors.

Daytime photos taken with the primary camera are fairly decent. The attention to detail is accurate, HDR is handled effectively, and the colors are bright without being oversaturated. In comparison to images captured with the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, landscape images exhibit somewhat greater definitions for the finer details of distant objects. The details in close-ups are clear, and the background blur is subtle. The 11 5G automatically captures long exposure photos at night that have minimal to no noise and an acceptable degree of detail.

The OnePlus 11 5G's ultra-wide camera is a big improvement over the 10 Pro 5G's. The colors and textures of items are more vibrant and clearer. With enough exposure and vibrant colors, even low-light photographs appear great. The camera app will switch to the ultrawide camera for macro shots once you are close enough to an object.

The telephoto camera's images have also been somewhat enhanced. At all magnification settings, objects' details, textures, and colors are superior to those of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. In low light, the camera app often uses the primary camera's digital zoom unless the subject is well-lit. Even with 2X magnification, night mode is still effective.

The selfie camera produces decent photographs both during the day and in low light. The majority of people should be satisfied with the outcomes if one doesn't zoom in too much while cropping photos. The user can experiment with an immense number of filters and skin-retouching tools if they like.

Up to 8K 24fps of video can be recorded with the OnePlus 11 5G. It's important to note that digital magnification is carried out using the primary camera instead of the telephoto one for all resolutions and framerates except for 1080p 30fps. The clip is well-stabilized. Videos taken in low light are also good, but they can appear a little loud, and recording the video while moving can cause some disturbance in the video. When "AI Highlight" is activated, the video cannot be zoomed in or out when being recorded at 4K. During the day, it didn't appear to make much of a difference, but with the downside of more noise, it does help brighten the footage made in really low light.

It's crucial to remember that the 11 5G allows 8K video recording, in contrast to the 10 Pro 5G, which would quickly overheat.

Conclusion

The OnePlus 11 5G is priced at just Rs. 56,999. At Rs. 61,999, even the most costly model is affordably priced. The 11 5G would have been complete with wireless charging, but if you don't care about it much, it is unlikely to pose a problem. It is an exquisitely constructed piece of hardware that is capable of doing any performance-related activities. The easiest way to sum up the OnePlus 11 5G phone is with the word "glamorous." It is a beautifully made piece of hardware that can carry out any performance-related tasks. Additionally, the smartphone features top-notch viewing performance and excellent camera hardware. It can give you an incredible audio-visual experience, whether you're watching videos, movies, listening to music, or even playing mobile games. It is a cost-effective device that has comparatively clean software, lightning-fast charging, and plenty of additional features. It is an excellent choice for people looking to buy a new mobile phone in that price range.
