They have many actors and actresses known for their work worldwide. In this article, we will discuss one of the movies in Tamil cinema, Cobra.

The Cobra movie was released in 2022 an Indian Tamil language movie. It was a psychological action thriller film with lots of action and drama. This movie was written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. The movie's producer is S. S. Lalit Kumar, under the production house of 7 Screen Studio. The movie has many actors and actresses, Vikram plays the main lead, and he is in dual roles. Other important actors in the movie are Irfan Pathan, Roshan Mathew, Sarjano Khalid, and Srinidhi Shetty. Mirnalini Ravi, Miya George, K. S. Ravikumar, Anandaraj, Robo Shankar, and Meenakshi Govindarajan performed the supportive roles. This movie is important as it marked the debut of Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan and also the Tamil debuts of Srinidhi Shetty. Music composition is done by A. R. The Cobra movie was officially announced in May 2019 under Vikram 58. But the initial title dropped due to technical reasons, and the new and official title was Cobra, announced in December 2019. The movie's development began in October 2019, but due to the spread of COVID-19, this movie took three years to complete. Due to the impact of COVID-19, the production of movies is stopped. Due to travel restrictions, the shooting location is under lockdown, and Vikram's committed to another project. But after overcoming these reasons, the movie was completed and released for the audience. The main location of movie shooting is Chennai, Kerala, and Kolkata, and some sequence suiting takes place in Russia also.

The first song of the movie was released to the audience on 22 June 2020, and the song is "Thumbi Thulla". The Thumbi Thulla song is written by Vivek and sung by Nakul Abhyankar and Shreya Ghoshal. The movie's most popular song, titled "Adheeraa," was released for the audience on 15 April 2022. Pa. Vijay wrote this wonderful song, and the voice of the song was given by Vagu Mazan. The debutant Irfan Pathan played the role of an Interpol agent, and he tried to trace the criminal. When he was on a mission to crack this case, he encountered a young mathematics student named Judith from India who proposed the theory that Cobra made this killing. Irfan got a file from Judith, which helped him catch the killer. When the agent of Interpol means, Irfan Pathan, arrives in India to identify the killer, he finds that Vikaram, who played the role of Madhi, is behind these killings. Madhi is a mathematical genius who uses his knowledge to kill people. And the rest of the story of the movie is developed around this killing, tracking of the killer, and the reasons for assassinations.

Let us discuss the performances of Starcast in the movie. The main lead of the movie is Vikram. Vikram is known for his earlier roles. He is a brilliant actor. For his roles, he has been awarded national awards. Vikram is known for his memorable performances in his long career. In recent times he is becoming monotonous. Cobra is not different from other movies of, Vikram. He was doing the same thing that he did in his earlier works. Critics used to say that his role in Cobra was not an extraordinary act. Those who like him doing "Aparichitudu" acting get a piece of it in one scene. The Telugu debut of "KGF" girl Srinidhi Shetty's role is not well defined and is poorly written. The role of Srinidhi Shetty with Vikram makes no sense. Another important thing about this movie is the role of Sarjano Khalid, who plays two roles, the younger versions of Vikram. The work of Mirnalini Ravi in a flashback episode is okay but not considered extraordinary. The movie's main backdrop is that Roshan Mathew plays a negative role, and he didn't impact the movie. This movie is the first movie by Cricketer Irfan Pathan. He justifies his role, and he is impressive throughout the movie.

Cobra movie is a star-packed movie; Vikram plays the main lead. Vikram is known for its screen presence. The movie starts with the killing of famous people, and the killing is well portrayed so that no one identifies the killer. As the killer is known and uses a unique method to kill, this interests audiences. The movie's opening scenes are used to develop an interest in audiences as this killing is happening in different cities. But after initial interrogation, it was found that this killing was performed by the mathematical genius, which added novelty to the movie. Vikarm justifies his role. At the beginning of the movie, Vikram has a brilliant screen presence. With further development of the movie, interest among the audience is increasing due to mathematical explanations of crimes and assassinations. Some ambitious ideas are also presented and shown in the movie. Initially, the movie was simple, but the director wanted more than smooth running, so he added complexity to the simple story. Some backdrop of the movie includes hallucinations, flashback stories shown in the movie, the sentiment of mother and brother sentiment, and whatnot, add on as the story goes on and on, just like the "Dhoom 3" style interval cannot attract audiences well. While watching, we found that the director forgot to show what he wanted to show to the audience in the movie. So the basic points are erased, and this became boring to watch. The movie's running time is around 3 hours, but the movie never comes to the main point. The movie's last hour is so boring that it is silly and illogical.

The link between Srinidhi Shetty and Vikram needs to be better shown. Sometimes they are shown from a messy angle.

In conclusion, the Cobra movie is loud. The star cast of the movie justified their roles, but the movie's story could have been better shown. In the movie's first half, there was some interest among audiences, but after that, it gets tiresome and becomes a complete bore. In a nutshell, this movie is a one-time watch.
