Virata Parvam Review

Story-

Two main protagonists, Aranya (played by Rana Daggubati) & Vennela (played by Sai Pallavi), who cross paths during the turbulent Naxalite movement in Andhra Pradesh, are at the center of the story. Their complicated connection, emotional conflicts, and sacrifices they make are all explored in the movie. It explores the workings of the movement while tackling issues of justice, love, and the effects of their deeds. Virata Parvam delivers a provocative examination of revolution and individual decisions, complete with surprising turns and nuanced characterization.

Plus Points-

First and foremost, the creators deserve praise for coming up with a subject that is rich in information and free of any commercial elements. Virata Parvam has a very maturely generated love aspect, which is where the picture excels, even if the Naxal backdrop has been included in many movies. The film's production, visuals, and BGM all play a big part in how captivating it is.

Rana is picking his jobs well, and he does an excellent job as Ravanna. He is given nothing to do in the first half, but in the second, he shines and becomes the movie's main supporter. Rana's on-screen persona perfectly complements the movie's tone.

Both Priyamani and Naveen Chandra are excellent in their parts. The atrocities that the people experience and how the Naxals aid them have been presented fairly adequately. The suspense and action scenes are kept up really well. The climax is particularly memorable, leaving you with a knot in your throat.

Last but not least, Sai Pallavi is Virata Parvam's leading actress. Although we all know she is a skilled actress, she excels in Virata Parvam. Sai Pallavi does an excellent job of highlighting her love for Ravanna, her fight for justice, and her mental anguish while looking for him.

The technical features of Virata Parvam are strong. One of the most fantastic camerawork pieces in recent memory was created by Dani Sanchez-Lopez & Divakar Mani. The historical setting, woodland imagery, and combat scenes are all beautifully highlighted.

The way the production design is carried out is just excellent. The song lyrics and design of the clothes are outstanding. Music by Suresh Bobbili is yet another excellent feature. Although his songs are excellent, his BGM is even more compelling and takes the movie to the next level.

Regarding the film's director, Venu Udugula, he did a fantastic job. His writing can enhance the drama since it is incisive and has a wide enough scope. Sai Pallavi's character is an excellent example of how well he blended love with revolution. He put a lot of effort into every detail, and his actors delivered excellent performances, which is ideal. Each character's sensitivities and views are well-expressed, and the film's dramatic conclusion demonstrates the director's mastery of drama.

Minus Points-

Virata Parvam is a serious movie that is not for fans of commercial films and is clear from the first scene. One should be informed that neither romance nor fun will be included while viewing this movie.

The movie loses some momentum in the second half. The pace of the story slows down as various repetitive Naxal background scenes are shown for no apparent purpose. The conclusion could have more drama after displaying Sai Pallavi's revolution and love. Even though it's decent, additional drama and depth would have made the story much more compelling.

Some viewers might find the movie's length, which is nearly two and a half hours, to be excessive. Particularly for viewers seeking a more fast-paced experience, drawn-out scenes or poor pacing may cause them to lose interest.

Conclusion

Overall, Virata Parvam is a groundbreaking movie with the proper balance of drama and emotions. The second half is monotonous and predictable, but the acting keeps you engaged. Since the film's genre is serious and innovative, not everyone will immediately relate to it. With this exception, Rana and Sai Pallavi ensure that this movie is worth seeing for its sincere effort and sensible narrative.
