And they started thinking about what will the family members do to survive the virus forms the rest of the story.

Good Points:

Let us try to understand some of the movie's plus points that attract the audience to watch.

  1. The best thing about this movie is the introduction part; the introduction of the virus is well documented in the movie.
  2. The other plus point of this movie is that the actors chosen for roles justify their casting. How the main characters react to this pandemic is wonderful. They nicely showcase their roles and their panic about viruses.
  3. The director beautifully captured all the scenes related to the pandemic and its spreading.
  4. Dakshi Guttikonda is the main lead in the movie, and she has done an amazing role; she justifies her casting and does a good job throughout the movie.
  5. The introduction scene of the movie starts with her, and as the young actress, she does their role quite well. She looks like a promising talent and can go a long way.
  6. Vamsi Chaganti also plays an important role, and he is very neat. But the main limelight of the movie is the work of Srikanth Iyengar, who steals the show with his acting. He has shown a frustrated person handling the Corona situation. The role portrayed by him is quite well in the film. His facial expressions are wonderful, and the director nicely captures these expressions.
  7. The movie's best part is how each family member gets scared of others is showcased well.

Minus Points:

  1. Ram Gopal Varma is known for choosing curious subjects to direct.
  2. Agastya Manju was the movie's assistant director; he did a good job. Also, he tries to do the same in this film.
  3. The minus point of this movie is that the same scenes are repeated from various angles. The fear angle among the character is overstretched, and after some point, this bores the audience.
  4. The movie's climax is weird as the situation of Coronavirus is changed in the country but is shown differently in the movie.

Technical Aspects

Coronavirus excels in its technical aspects, creating a visually immersive experience. The film's attention to detail is commendable, depicting the chaotic and uncertain atmosphere during the pandemic and effectively utilizing visuals to convey the gravity of the situation. The background score and sound design enhance the storytelling, evoking the narrative's tension, fear, and emotional depth. The editing is seamless, ensuring a smooth flow of the interconnected storylines. The screenplay is well-crafted, incorporating moments of drama, hope, and introspection while maintaining a realistic portrayal of the pandemic.

Conclusion:

Coronavirus is an emotionally charged and thought-provoking Telugu film that effectively captures the essence of the COVID-19 pandemic. With its strong performances, compelling storytelling, and technical finesse, the movie offers a poignant exploration of the human spirit amidst crisis. It serves as a reminder of the resilience and compassion that emerge in the face of adversity while also shedding light on the challenges individuals and communities face during a health crisis. Coronavirus is a testament to the power of cinema in reflecting and dissecting real-life events, ultimately leaving a lasting impact on its audience.
