Tiku Weds Sheru Review

Review

You know what to anticipate from a Bollywood-based film, especially when it comes to the lives of young or background performers attempting to succeed in the competitive industry. There are several obstacles in their path.

'Sheru' Khan Shiraz Afghani is a young make shifter (jugaadu) artist who is a hopeless romantic. He claims to be a prince without an estate and moves around a set of a movie as if he owns it. He receives a marriage proposal and is compelled to catch a train to return to Bhopal, his hometown.

The potential bride is the free-spirited Tasleem 'Tiku' Khan. Tiku a rough and spoiled Bhopal native with a passion for poetry. She desires to escape her patriarchal home and become widely recognized. She is likewise a reckless, impulsive city girl who accepts the marriage proposal from a less attractive man for her personal objectives. She first rejects him because of his strange appearance. The main characters are predicted to fall in love after the female character discovers the male character's selflessness to be his inner beauty or something. However, she ultimately approves of the marriage because she aspires to be an actor, and Sheru is her main ticket to Bollywood because he pretends to be a film investor. Both parties gain from the marriage. After the marriage, Tiku has the freedom to leave her patriarchal family, and Sheru is given a 10 lakh rupees dowry that he may use to settle the debt he owes.

The plot focuses on how they establish a family while making it in the film industry. But when Sheru is arrested for drug dealing, Tiku gets caught up in the same filthy world while trying to make it big in the entertainment industry. Their respective lifestyles are entirely altered.

Kangana Ranaut is the producer of the movie. So, it won't be a surprise if one predicts Tiku Weds Sheru to be a component of the Tanu Weds Manu universe.

One of the best actors in the nation, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is absolutely misused in this film. He is a little out of shape. He may have appeared smooth in his portrayal of Sheru, who sincerely wants to be a successful actor, but he could have been more productive as an actor. Nawazuddin loses charm in his attempt to portray himself as an unusual Bollywood romantic hero and lover. Although it is unimportant to the viewers, his character also speaks English, which sounds unnatural. Nawazuddin does a fantastic job in portrayal as a young, working artist. He can effortlessly deliver filmy dialogues while also expressing himself.

Since she was very little, Avneet Kaur has been performing. As a result, she reads her lines effortlessly on television, which is also incredibly admirable. Avneet Kaur exhibits outstanding potential as a fiery, self-assured young woman and a desperate young woman who is torn apart when she learns the truth about her partner. She impresses the audience in the scene where she breaks down and steals food from a movie set after realizing she was tricked into signing a role she didn't earn.

The viewers are unimpressed by Avneet and Nawazuddin's mismatched pairing because this movie is one of the worst screenplays to come out of Bollywood this year. Among other characters, Vipin Sharma and Zakir Hussain don't have a significant role in the story.

The storyline of the movie and Sai Kabir's direction could be more connected and consistent. It is a love story between two "strugglers," specifically about the difficulties aspiring artists face every day when looking for their big time. It appears a little unrealistic that Sheru would approve of Tiku's pregnancy with someone else's child.

In Bollywood, a wedding is the ultimate source of comfort. Recently, actor Nawazuddin has enjoyed "marriage comedies." Another film that adds to Nawazuddin Siddiqui's filmography features the groom's character in a leading role is Tiku Weds Sheru.

"Tiku Weds Sheru"has nothing to offer from the very beginning. There are some of the movie characters who are just there and don't really add much. Even a chronic insomniac will fall asleep because of the narrative's breakdown and the slow speedof the film. Even while the soundtrack is lively and soulful, it isn't very memorable. Furthermore, theviewers don't feel any pity for the characters. The movie is enjoyable because of Nawazuddin's performance, even though his portrayal of a woman in a dancing scene may have been avoided.
