Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini Review

Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini is an Indian Telegu romantic film & Kiran Abbavaram's film (Hero as Vivek) under the direction of Sridhar Gade. Let's review the movie.

Story and Analysis

The story starts on a tragic note when the heroine's (Sanjana Anand as Tejo) father's rushed to the hospital due to suffering from a heart attack. Tejo is the princess of her family who is mired in love failure. Despite being the sweetheart of her family, she is an alcoholic due to her tragic past in love. Her family fixed her marriage to their native distant relative, but she eloped with her lover, leaving the family in grief. She works in an IT company & finds herself in a dangerous situation after a drunk episode.

Vivek (Kiran's Abbavaram) is acting as a cab driver who is fed up with the people looking down on car drivers. His character is of fun guy with hints of masculinity. Hero with a massive avatar becomes the major attraction of the film. When goons try to take advantage of drunk Tejo, he saves her. The whole story is about changes in Tejo's life after meeting Vivek and some twists in the story.

After saving her from the toxic people, she narrates her past to Vivek, and he also opens his heart (heartbreak story) in front of her. Two of them shared their love stories which have some connection. It also had emotions between a father and daughter that seemed promising but needed to be established better. This is all detailed in the movie.

It's not the story but the film's music by Mani Sharma becomes it's asset as all songs are peppy and well shoot. There is a proper flow in the proceeding of the story, as the second half doesn't bore you. Krishna Reddy, the director of the film, also performed a small and neat role in the movie but lacked anything significant to speak about. Even in Vivek's fighting sequences, dance, and dialogue delivery, the excellent looks set the audience and suited the film's mood well. Another comic role Baba Bhaskar plays goes overboard, but the routine sketches let down more than that.

Another heroine in the film, Sona Thakur, does an adequate job. It's a neat film, but the director let it down. Kiran Abbavaram's played a self-parody role and successfully convinced the audience, but being a potential actor Sanjana Anand couldn't portray a few emotions after a long layoff.

Technical aspects

The film fails in technical aspects, but the visuals are pleasing. Production does fair work to showcase the film in a prosperous manner. Camera work and dialogue show their magic in the second half. Some actors fail to serve at their best, but overall, it is an out-of-date commercial film with light-hearted entertainment. Twists need to be adequately presented by the director, and during the last ten minutes film comes to its main conflict point, and the audience loses patience. The audience gets detached from the proceedings. All the time, those love stories showed up. That's why no new romance has built up.

This movie is the third release of the Kiran Abbavaram in the same year, and those two are Sebastian P.C.524 and Sammathame. These two movies were flops, and down the hero impression on the audience, so he had high hopes for this project. He delivers his best acting skills and tries to put every ingredient in the movie.

Verdict

At last, we can say that Nenu Meeku Baaga Kavalsinavaadini is a romantic drama that lacks direction, drama, and emotions. The movie needs better-supporting roles, a filler narrative, and too many songs. Despite good music and a few comedy scenes movie needs gripping narration that makes it dull. But Kiran Abbavaram's performance, film interval, and climax deserve a watch to the movie.
